The lime kiln is located about 2 km from the village towards Leskovec. It was built in 1912, from the gross quarry stone for burning limestone, The inner lining is brick, and the walls are 1 m wide. The height and width is approximately 4 m.
The limestone in this area was mined for centuries, and probably used both for construction purposes and also bleaching for linen. Limestone was also used at the iron foundry in Roudno. The process of firing lasted about 24 hours until thick smoke stopped, and then the lime was taken away to customers. In 2001, the kiln was fixed by the Club for old Bruntál and made available to the public. Currently, the kiln is a technical monument.
